1.
Since I was born I have to die Before long I'll be a ghost but now I feel in the night the cold wind bitting my flesh, I'd rather die like a madman become the liver of a rat or the leg of an insect by my own hands, a white bird
2.
Cracks and falls the sky Opens up the earth In the heart of fire A hidden spring I was born in this world I'll leave it in my death Into a thousand towns My legs have carried me
3.
If my left arm becomes a rooster I will greet the dawn If my right arm becomes a crossbow I'll shoot down a bird a roast it If my ass become wheels and my spirit a horse I will go for a ride I'll have no need for a carriage when I die my friend, bury me in a tavern beneath a wine barrel with luck the cask will leak
4.
Ill on a journey My dream goes wandering Over withered fields Today must be my birthday in Paradise I feel the joy of dewdrops in the grass of morning turning back to vapor Life is a field lit in the darkness by a lighting
